What is Email Validation and why should you consider adopting it?

Email validation is the process of ensuring that an email address is actually valid. It’s a simple way to protect your business from being defrauded or from sending out spam emails to people who don’t want them. If you’re not sure if your email address is valid, that doesn’t mean that it won’t work for your needs.

However, there are many cases where invalid addresses can cause security issues or other issues with sending out messages through them. So how do you know if your domain name is in good standing?

What is Email Validation?

Email validation can be done through various methods, such as checking whether or not the address exists and/or verifying that it has been registered with a known organization (e.g., Google). The main benefit of validating emails is keeping your business safe from cyber criminals who may attempt to steal your information by spoofing them as being from legitimate sources like banks or government agencies.

How to validate an email address

The most common way to validate an email address is to send a verification email to the address.

The validation process can be done in two ways:

You send an email directly from your own domain or from another provider that uses a verified domain (like Gmail). This will allow you to ensure that the person receiving your message is actually who they say they are, as well as check their previous activity on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

– You use another service provider where they have access to information about all of their subscribers’ accounts so they can verify each one individually based on what’s required by law enforcement agencies around the world – this includes verifying whether someone has been convicted of any crime in recent years before sending out emails in order not only protect themselves but also keep everyone safe!

Benefits of validating emails

An email validation system  is a great way to increase your email deliverability, subscriber engagement and customer retention. But it’s not just about the numbers: validating emails also helps you create more effective marketing efforts.

– Increase email deliverability:

As an internet marketer, your goal should be to make sure that all of your subscribers receive their emails in a timely manner. With email validation on a host server (your domain), this becomes easier by making sure that only those who have opted into receiving newsletters from you will see them coming through their inboxes.

– Increase subscriber engagement:

When people feel like they’re getting value out of something they’re receiving via email (and especially if it’s useful information), they’ll engage with it more often than not—and continue doing so after initial exposure has ended (i.e., when no longer interested). There are many benefits associated with increased subscriber engagement; however, one thing stands out above all others: increased revenue potential over time because people will spend more money on products/services sold through online channels if they’re happy with how easy/fast delivery happens.

Why do you need to validate emails?

You should validate emails because it can help you avoid spamming, or sending messages to the wrong person.

As mentioned earlier in this article, there are several possible reasons why email validation is important:

To avoid sending an email address that has been harvested from another source (e.g., LinkedIn). This could result in receiving a lot of unsolicited messages from people with whom you have no personal connection whatsoever and may even lead to identity theft if someone gets hold of your password!

The best way around this problem is by using an automatic script which checks all submitted data against known databases containing information on known spammers/scum bags before submitting them into our system – so nothing gets sent out until confirmed good matches have been found between two parties involved!
